1. About CoverTiger and Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of the CoverTiger website, insurance comparison and assistance services, and the CoverTiger integration for ChatGPT and other supported conversational platforms (together, the Services). The Services are operated by DYS Family Raksha Insurance Web Aggregators Private Limited, which operates as CoverTiger. In these Terms, CoverTiger is also referred to as we, us, or our.

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to request or purchase insurance through CoverTiger.

2. Regulatory Status and Scope

DYS Family Raksha Insurance Web Aggregators Private Limited is registered with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) as an Insurance Web Aggregator (Registration No. 030; Code IRDAI/INT/WBA/79/2023). We provide information, comparison, lead generation, and permitted insurance assistance services. Insurance products are offered, underwritten, and issued by the relevant insurer, not by CoverTiger.

Product descriptions, premiums, benefits, exclusions, network-hospital information, and other policy details are based on information supplied by insurers or their authorised service providers. The insurer's policy wording, proposal form, benefit schedule, and final decision control if there is any difference.

3. Quotes, Comparisons, and Insurance Decisions

Quotes and comparisons are indicative and may change after the insurer verifies your information, completes underwriting, or applies taxes, loadings, discounts, and eligibility rules. A quote is not an offer, guarantee of coverage, or confirmation that a policy has been issued.

You should review the insurer's full policy wording, exclusions, waiting periods, limits, co-payments, network rules, and premium before deciding to purchase. CoverTiger does not make an insurer's underwriting, eligibility, policy-issuance, or claims decision.

4. CoverTiger Plugin and Conversational Platforms

The CoverTiger Plugin can help you discover and compare plans, find hospitals, request an indicative quote, and ask for an advisor callback. You control whether a tool is used and whether optional information is provided.

• Do not enter payment card details, passwords, one-time passwords, API keys, government identity numbers, diagnoses, or medical records into a plugin request.
• A callback request authorises CoverTiger and its authorised representatives to contact you about that request using the contact details and time preference you provide.
• The plugin does not itself issue a policy, accept a premium, decide eligibility, or submit a claim. Any later transaction must be completed through an identified, secure CoverTiger or insurer process.
• ChatGPT or another conversational platform is a separate service. Its own terms and privacy policy also apply to your use of that platform.

5. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• provide complete, current, and accurate information and correct any error before submitting an application;
• provide another person's information only when you are authorised to do so and it is needed for the requested insurance service;
• read the proposal declaration and insurer documents and disclose all material facts requested by the insurer;
• protect account credentials and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised use; and
• use the Services only for lawful, personal insurance purposes and in compliance with these Terms.

Incomplete, inaccurate, or omitted information may cause a quote to change and may affect policy issuance, cancellation, or a future claim, subject to applicable law and the insurer's policy terms.

6. Privacy, Consent, and Communications

Our Privacy Policy explains the categories of data we collect, purposes, recipients, retention periods, and your controls. When you request a quote, application, callback, or policy service, you direct us to use and share the information needed with relevant insurers and authorised service providers.

Where you separately consent to marketing, CoverTiger may contact you by phone, email, SMS, or messaging service. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time using an unsubscribe control or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect service or regulatory communications relating to an existing request or policy.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• use the Services for fraud, impersonation, harassment, or any unlawful activity;
• submit malicious code, probe security, bypass access controls or usage limits, or disrupt the Services;
• scrape, copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Services or their content without our written permission; or
• misrepresent plugin output as a final insurer decision or use automated means to make high-impact decisions about another person.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, software, design, trademarks, and CoverTiger content are owned by or licensed to CoverTiger and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial insurance needs in accordance with these Terms. Insurer names, logos, and policy materials remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may link to or interoperate with insurers, payment providers, hospitals, KYC providers, ChatGPT, and other third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. A link or integration does not make CoverTiger responsible for a third party's service, availability, security, or content, except to the extent responsibility cannot be excluded by law.

10. Availability and Changes to the Services

We may maintain, update, suspend, or change a Service or feature. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Where reasonably possible, we will avoid disrupting an insurance transaction already in progress and will provide a way to contact support.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant that every available insurance product will be displayed or that third-party information will always be complete, current, or error-free.

CoverTiger is not responsible for an insurer's underwriting, policy issuance, premium collection, claim decision, or performance of policy obligations. To the extent permitted by law, CoverTiger will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. CoverTiger may restrict or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create a security or legal risk, or misuse the Services. Termination does not affect rights and obligations that arose earlier, mandatory recordkeeping, or provisions that by their nature should continue.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Services or applicable requirements. We will publish the revised Terms on this page, update the date above, and provide additional notice where required. Your continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

14. Governing Law and Grievances

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or regulatory remedy, courts of competent jurisdiction in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh will have jurisdiction. You may first raise a complaint through our grievance redressal process. This does not limit any right to approach IRDAI, an Insurance Ombudsman, a consumer forum, or another authority where applicable.
